Una Nueva accesibilidad hacia los Andes Central, unido a Estaciones de ski, villorrios pre cordilleranos, rutas panorámicas, en un entorno de montaña a menos de 30 minutos de Santiago de Chile
A new tourism accessibility towards the Central Andes, connection to Ski Areas, Mountain Villages, panoramic routes, in a natural environment, less than 30 minutes of the city of Santiago, Chile.
Lo Barnechea county is situated at the east side of Santiago de Chile, with 93% of its land on mountain areas. The Andes metropolitan chain includes ski areas, national parks and some few human settlements. The only connection to mountain high lands and ski areas is through a windy and narrow road, with difficult operation on winter times.
To break the land use stacionalty and provide a better accessibility, this/p> project proposed a new shorter, wider and panoramic road, plus a Gondola Connection to Ski areas. Two Recreational Villages will be located at the base and upper stations.
This will supply the necessary service infrastructure to the Yerba Loca Reserve and will allow to have a new tourism circuit to the city of Santiago.
